Hi! I’m Anthony Barreto and I am the project manager for the Boxman thesis video game!
THE VIDEO GAME
I am the project manager of Boxman, a 2D action side-scroller/top down game. In Boxman, you play as one of the last remaining protectors of the galaxy tasked to defeat various evil foes controlled by a sentient Diamond. My primary focus for Boxman was to create and manage a clear roadmap for the project. Together my teammates and I were able to effectively complete our tasks to ensure the game will be the best version of itself.
Players will take control of Boxman where they are tasked to save the galaxy from the diabolical Diamond that threatens all life in the universe. The gameplay involves players traversing through a 2D side scroller. Then, when completing the first level in the 2D perspective the camera would switch to a top down perspective where players will continue to face new challenges.
