Meet the Characters

Hiroaki (Left) - The main protagonist of the story, Hiroaki is the final descendant of the god Hachiman, a protector god of humanity. During the attack on his village at a young age, his dormant power awakened and painted a target on his back, along with everyone close to him, by those seeking to use that power selfishly. After seeing the danger that people face by those seeking the remnant power of the old gods, he vows to put a stop to the violence and bloodshed created from those seeking that power for themselves.

Zenaria (Middle) - One of the main supporting characters in the story, Zenaria is the commander of the resistance group against the old gods and the childhood friend of Hiroaki. After the destruction of her and Hiroaki’s village, they later reunite to stand against those seeking the powers of the gods for unspeakable acts.

Xanrai (Shen-rai) (Right) - The main antagonist of the story, Xanrai is a young scientist in the last remaining kingdom of humanity, Evitial. He is tasked early on in his scientific career to research the power of the gods of old to see what gave them their unique but otherworldly powers. He eventually becomes mad from all of the answers uncovered about the truth of their powers and becomes possessed by the god of calamity, seeking to finish off the last of humanity.
