Unity Development in an Indie Studio

Bio

During my time in Interactive Multimedia, I have taken an interest in creating fun interactive experiences that people will enjoy. I also have learned that I enjoy collaboration and working amongst a team. Throughout the last four years, I have been working to improve my coding and problem-solving abilities and have acquired a minor in Computer-Science. After I graduate I hope to work in a collaborative environment where I can create interactive experiences that many will be able to enjoy.

About The Project

Myself along with 4 of my closest friends are collaborating to create a game. called The Newton Mystery. We call ourselves In The Snow Studios. My role mainly involves being a programmer; Meaning I create scripts in Unity/Visual Studio to make our game come alive. Some specific roles I have involve creating cutscenes, coding level assets, scripting character controllers to give them abilites/movement, some small sound effect work, and creating our studio’s website. Luckily, our team’s members have different skillsets which allows us to bring the best out of each other.

The Newton Mystery Demo
The Newton Mystery is a 2D puzzle platforming adventure where you play as a group of friends who have formed a rag-tag monster crime-solving team. Since the start of our winter break we have been working non-stop on this game.

Check out the demo here.

I recently worked to update our other title Mason and Strings. Some exciting new features I implemented include cutscenes, Steam Achievements, a new camera system, and general bug fixes.

Check it out on Steam here.
