Purpose

This project showcased my video editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro. It also helped me re-live the best of our pre-pandemic Ultimate Frisbee season. Ultimate frisbee is a game played on a rectangular field between two seven-player teams in which a plastic disc is advanced by being thrown from player to player and in which a team scores by catching a throw in the opponent's end zone. I get the ability to combine the best catches, best defensive plays, and the best throws while adding my own spin on everything. The project will also feature the introduction announcements of the captains and our team that we put on the field in clutch predicaments. We will get to show everyone how Ultimate Frisbee is a sport and how everyone should give it a try.

The Process and What I Learned

Through this thesis, I learned a great deal about an industry standard video editor (Adobe Premiere Pro). Specific skills include executing pre-sets, utilizing layers in order to create visual effects, and applying color grading effects in order to bring out emotions. Analyzing and cutting out game footage, organizing it, syncing it with audio, color-grading, and then adding effects took a great deal of time. Please note that all footage was captured before the pandemic which is why no masks were being used. I am happy with my final product and hope you will enjoy it.
